The nice thing about both of these towns is that the big cruise boats don't go here. The cruise ships wanted to set up shop in Wrangle in exchange for 10% of all town sales and the right to set up their own tringet shops on the water front. Wrangle said 'no thanks.' For Petersburg, there is no way for the big cruise ships to access Petersburg. Only the smaller Alaskan ferry boats can make it through Wrangle Narrows.
